The enveloping comfort of sweet vanilla, marzipan and warming spice.

Notes

Nose There are heavy sweet almond notes in the background giving this cask the unique character which makes it such a fine candidate for a rare single bottling

Palate Chocolate covered marzipan, butter scotch and maple syrup. Creamy vanilla custard integrating with sugar covered Belgian waffles. A light presence of spiciness, baking spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Freshly peeled almonds ready to be ground for marzipan mixed with icing sugar. Battenberg cake in abundance!

Finish Rewardingly long and staying true to its patisserie notes – it remains sweet on the finish, a very pleasing dram indeed
