Ordering

Where Can I Buy Your Products From UK?

Customers based in the UK can purchase our spirits directly from our website here. We also have a shop stocking all our products at our Distillery. You can also find our spirits at lots of small independent spirit shops throughout the UK, as well as stores such as Harvey Nichols and Waitrose.

How Long Does Delivery Take From Your Website?

Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours of order being placed. We only dispatch and deliver Monday-Friday. For international orders, please allow some more time for the order to be delivered to you.

How Much Is UK Shipping From Your Website?

Can I Gift Wrap My Order?

Yes, please tick the add gift wrapping option on the product of your choice. Alternatively, you can add it as an option in the products section.

Can I Try Some Samples?

You can order samples over at our miniatures section.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

What Is The Shipping Policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfilment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours of order being placed. We only dispatch and deliver Monday-Friday.

Orders are shipped by a national courier network. It is important to inspect the items for damage before you sign for delivery. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. The courier will attempt 2 deliveries - after this, the package(s) will be returned to your local post office or courier depot and will be held for you to collect for two weeks. Packages uncollected after this period will be returned to our warehouse where you will be credited for the cost of the goods but NOT the shipping charges.

Kingsbarns Distillery does not accept liability for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from inaccurate information supplied within orders.

The above shipping charges are for 3 70cl bottles or less. If you place an order that exceeds 3 bottles you may be contacted via email and asked to pay an excess on the shipping of a larger order. If no response is given by the customer then the order may be refunded by Wemyss Family Spirits Ltd. and all charges returned within 5 to 10 working days.

Can I Return Products From Your Website?

ALL returns must be authorised by email or phone by the Kingsbarns Distillery before being returned. This is to ensure correct tracking of your goods and any refunds or replacements that may be due.

Please ensure that the returned items are boxed and securely packaged for the journey back to us. Failure to do so may result in damage to the item which we will not be held responsible for.

Can I Click & Collect My Order?

Yes, please select local pick-up as your delivery method at the checkout. Also add when you're expecting to collect in the notes section of your order.

How Do I Book A Tour?

At Kingsbarns we have Whisky Tours and Gin Tours.

What Are Your Opening Hours?

Our Visitor Centre is open Daily from 10am with tours running throughout the day. The cafe closes at 4.30 and the shop closes at 5pm.

Do I Need To Book A Tour In Advance?

Yes, we strongly advise that you book your tour, as tour
times can be fully booked and you might have a long wait if you turn up without
a reservation. However, we do serve flights of whisky in the café, which you
can enjoy at any point between 10-4.30pm, without booking.

Can Children Go On The Tours?

We sell reduced-price tickets for children aged 8+ for the
Kingsbarns Tour and the Discover Darnley’s Tour.

Are Dogs Allowed In?

We are very happy to welcome dogs into the café and the
shop, but they are not allowed on the tour.

Can I Get To The Distillery On Public Transport?

Yes, Stagecoach service no. 95 passes by Cambo Lodge at the
foot of our drive. From there, it’s a 10-minute stroll up the track.

How Far Are You From St Andrews?

We are 6 miles away and around 15 minutes by car.

Founders Queries

Do I get a discount on purchases?

Yes – as a Founder Member you get a 10% discount off all core range whiskies and gins, both in the shop and online – check your correspondence from us to find the code!

I need to update my email address – how do I do that?

Please email info@kingsbarnsdistillery.com and the team can look after this for you.

Can I visit the distillery free of charge?

Yes – you can book onto our Kingsbarns tour free of charge, for you and up to 5 other guests.  Please contact the team on info@kingsbarnsdistillery.com and they will help you make your booking.

Can you send me samples of each of the Founders Reserve bottles?

I’m afraid we can’t send samples out, but if you visit the distillery, you are welcome to taste the bottlings. Founder members now also have the exclusive right to purchase individual bottles from the set, for a very attractive price of £80 per bottle.

Will there be any further bottles released to the Founder Members?

You should by now have received your fifth and final Founders Reserve bottle. If you have not received your final bottle, please contact the distillery team on info@kingsbarnsdistillery.com. Although there will be no further exclusive Founders bottlings, you will be given the opportunity to purchase future special releases in advance of their general release. Look out for our emails alerting you to your early access!
