Darnely's Gin: Navy Strength Gimlet
Ingredients (Serves 1)
50ml Darnley's Navy Strength Spiced Gin
50ml lime cordial
Ice
Slice of lime (optional)
Method
Mix the gin and cordial together and pour over ice. Stir well and strain into a chilled coupe/martini glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.
Darnley's Gin: Passionfruit and Elderflower Martini
Ingredients (Serves 1)
50ml Darnley's Original
12.5ml lime juice
12.5ml elderflower cordial
15ml pineapple juice
2 passionfruits
50ml Cava (optional)
Method
Scrape one and a half of the passionfruits into a cocktail shaker; add gin, lime juice, elderflower cordial and pineapple juice and shake with ice for about 15 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with half a passionfruit. Serve with a shot of Cava (optional).
Peat Chimney - Penicillin
Ingredients
50ml Peat Chimney Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
25ml lemon juice
20ml honey
ginger syrup
lemon wheel to garnish
Method
Shake all ingredients together with ice.
Strain into a rocks glass over large cubed ice.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Peat Chimney - Smoky Colada
Ingredients
50ml Peat Chimney Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
25ml banana liqueur
60ml coconut cream
120ml pineapple juice
Method
Add Peat Chimney, pineapple juice, coconut cream and banana liqueur in a blender with a few handfuls of crushed ice and pulse until smooth.
Pour into glasses and garnish each one with a wedge of fresh pineapple and a Maraschino cherry – cocktail umbrella optional!
