As the summer months approach, we are delighted to unveil a new addition to our tours: the 19th Hole Tour. The opening hours for our Visitor Centre have been extended from May to September, still opening at 10am, but now closing an hour later at 7pm. A new early evening tour at 530pm has been added to our extensive tour time choices to allow visitors even more opportunity to add in a visit to us. We formally invite you to our very first Kingsbarns Founders' Club dinner and tasting to be held at Kingsbarns Distillery on the Saturday the 3rd of September. Arrival: 7pm The evening will start with a tour of the visitor centre and distillery by Founder Douglas Clement and Distillery Manager Peter Holroyd. Following the tour Founders and their guests will be invited to taste Kingsbarns new make spirit and to try for the very first time a sample of our "Work in Progress" maturing spirit. Kingsbarns Distillery is delighted to announce that its Founders' Club membership is now available to buy through an instalment plan. Our Visitor Centre was opened on St Andrews Day 2014 by the Wemyss family owners and the founder, local man Douglas Clement. Distilling started in January 2015, with the first cask filled in March that year. Scotch whisky has to mature for at least 3 years before it can be bottled, so Kingsbarns Single Malt Whisky won't be available until later in 2018.
