Darnley's Gin: Our favourite Festive Serve: Good Tidings
Indulge in the Christmas spirit with this delicious festive serve we like to call 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑻𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔. Here's how to make it at home...𝑰𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔50ml Darnley’s Navy Strength GinFigs10ml Sugar SyrupPomegranate juiceTonicBasil𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒅Muddle the figs, basil and sugar syrup in the bottom of a tall glass. Fill the glass with ice and then add your measure of Darnley’s Navy Strength Gin. A splash of pomegranate juice and then top with tonic. Garnish with a basil leaf.
Darnley's Gin: East India Daisy
Ingredients
25ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
25ml Knops IPA 12ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
12ml freshly squeezed orange juice
12ml grenadine
Soda
Method
Pour all ingredients (except soda) into a shaker over cubed ice and shake rapidly. Single strain into glass over crushed ice. Charge with soda. Garnish with currents and orange wedge.
Darnley's Gin: Red Snapper
Ingredients
50ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
75ml tomato juice
10ml fresh orange juice
Juice half lime
3 dashes Tabasco
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 grinds black pepper
2 tsps sherry
Celery salt
Celery
Method
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip the wet rim into the celery salt. Fill the glass with ice then add Darnley’s Spiced Gin, tomato, lime and orange juices and the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces. Float sherry on top and grind black pepper. Garnish with a celery stick
Darnley's Gin: Negroni
Ingredients
25ml Darnley’s Spiced Gin
25ml Campari
25ml Sweet vermouth (we like Cinzano Rosso)
Method
In a mixing glass, give all three ingredients a few quick turns over very cold ice until blended. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice block or sphere and garnish with an orange twist.
