Kingsbarns Distillery Returns Policy

We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase from Kingsbarns Distillery. This policy outlines your rights and obligations regarding returns in compliance with UK law.

1. Cancellation Rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

If you have purchased goods online or via distance selling, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

  • To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email at info@kingsbarnsdistillery.com 
  • You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a refund, items must be:

  • Unopened and in their original condition, including seals, labels, and packaging.
  • Undamaged and resalable (except where the item was damaged upon receipt).

For spirits and alcoholic beverages, UK law prohibits returns of opened products unless they are faulty or not as described.

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of receipt:

  • Provide details of the issue and, where possible, include photos.
  • We may request the item to be returned for inspection.

Upon confirmation of the fault, we will offer:

  • A replacement of the same product, or
  • A full refund, including the cost of return postage.

4. Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Products purchased from third-party retailers (please contact them directly).
  • Items personalised or customised to your specifications, unless faulty.

5. Process for Returns

  • Pack the item securely and include proof of purchase.
  • Ship the item to the address provided by our team.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of postage.
  • Initial delivery costs will only be refunded if the entire order is returned or if the product was faulty.
