Kingsbarns Distillery is delighted to announce that its visitor centre has recently received a 5 Star rating from VisitScotland. The Visitor Centre opened on 30th November 2014 and was initially graded at 4 stars in 2015. The facility include a whisky tour complete with exhibition and tasting, a shop and cafe. Kingsbarns Distillery is proud to reveal that a 2 Year Old Spirit Drink has been bottled and is available to purchase exclusively at the Kingsbarns Distillery and Visitor Centre. Kingsbarns 2 Year Old Spirit Drink is the first release from Kingsbarns to be matured in oak casks however it cannot be called Scotch whisky as it has not been matured for over 3 years. The release, available in a 200ml bottling is a combination of 2 casks that have matured single malt spirit, for over 2 years, in 1st fill ex-bourbon barrels. We are delighted to be part of the East Neuk Festival with a visit from the Tullis Russell Brass Band this Saturday 1st July at 12 noon. The band will play for approximately 30 minutes on the grass outside the distillery cafe.
