Kingsbarns Family Reserve 2020 is the first of our annual high strength bottlings of our lowland single malt Scotch Whisky. Using the same recipe as our flagship Dream to Dram release, we have bottled at a higher strength and matured the whisky for several months in marrying casks to intensify the flavours and aromas.

Only barley grown locally to the distillery in the sun soaked Kingdom of Fife is used to create our light, fruity and delicate spirit.
MATURED IN THE FINEST OAK CASKS
Under the supervision of the legendary whisky expert Jim Swan a carefully considered combination of 1st fill ex-Bourbon and 1st fill STR - that's Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred ex-Portuguese red wine casks- were used to mature our flagship whisky.
KINGSBARNS FAMILY RESERVE is light, intensely fruity, floral and balanced, with a rich colour coming from the high quality casks it has matured in.
NOSE:
A strong floral note of jasmine and honeysuckle. Honeyed mango, vanilla saffron custard, banana, wine gums and strawberry fondant.
PALATE:
Sugary shortbread, exotic fruits such as mango and papaya. Coconut chips changes to a more astringent and complex oak spice.
FINISH:
Intense yet fruity, oaky spice.
