Peter HolroydDistillery Manager
After graduating Heriot Watt University with an Bsc in Brewing and Distilling Peter started work as a brewer at St Austells Brewery and then Strathaven Ales. He's now in charge of creating and crafting the spirit which will slowly mature into Kingsbarns Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Michael van der VeenDistillery Experience Manager
Michael joined our team in November 2018 to run our Visitor Centre. Michael is a passionate whisky fan with many years of experience in the ‘5+ star’ hospitality industry. Originally from The Netherlands, he has lived and worked in Scotland for 15 years, now living in Cupar, Fife.
William is Director of Wemyss Development Company who in addition to tea plantations and property, have an existing whisky brand Wemyss Malts. He and the rest of the Wemyss family are delighted to now be distilling Kingsbarns Single Malt Whisky and secure the family interest in Scotch for the next generation.
Lali GrifellTour Manager
Lali is originally from Barcelona but has been living and working in Scotland for 23 years. She has an amazing passion for Scotch whisky, working in the industry for 12 years - it's what kept her in Scotland! Lali can speak French, Catalan and Spanish and can provide tours in Catalan and Spanish if required.
Suzie CrerarBusiness Development Manager
Suzie hails from Blair Atholl and previously worked at Blair Castle before joining the team here at the distillery. Suzie’s experience in tourism and hospitality is an asset to the company. Her role will be to manage and bring tours and experiences to our distillery.
Angie SmithCafe Manager
Angie has worked with us in the cafe since we opened and is now our Cafe Manager. Make sure you drop into the cafe during your visit to sample our delicious cakes, scones and sandwiches. The cafe also serves tasty soups along with a selection of gluten free treats.
