Kingsbarns Distillery Reopening!

Kingsbarns Distillery Reopening!

Welcome Back Square Kbdarn 01

We’re delighted to announce that we are reopening our distillery to visitors again!

From Wednesday 15th July, our shop will be open and the café will be available for takeaway only options. We’re also opening our terrace outside, with socially distanced seating available here. We will then be open 7 days a week, 10am-5pm.

Tours will commence from 1st August with a limited offering.

Daily Whisky tours:

A maximum of 8 persons attending over 4 ‘barrel bubbles’. There are 4 different coloured barrels on the floor, each can hold 2 adults and 1 child from the same household or less. They follow their ‘bubble barrel’ throughout the tour (keeping them at a safe distance)

Face masks are required to be worn throughout the tour (except for the tasting)

The ‘Kingsbarns Tour’ is £12 per adult, £4 for 8-17’s

Each of these tours can be upgraded to a ‘19th hole’ or ‘Dream to Dram tour’ as long as there are no other bookings for that slot. For the ‘19th hole’ tour we require 8 spaces booked, for the ‘Dream to Dram’ we need 4 spaces booked. Booking the luxury tours needs to be done by calling the VC first.

The content of the tours stays the same as before though we add in a Family Reserve sample to each tour as an ‘extra’. The tour guide will explain the production method outside the distillery production area, and then visitors can have a brief look around inside without their guide talking inside the distillery itself (due to noise restrictions).

We want to assure you that we are working hard to keep our customers and staff safe, following COVID-19 measures in line with government guidelines. To help keep you and our staff as safe as possible when you visit, we have a few precautions to bear in mind:

  • Please do not visit us if you feel unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms. These include a new continuous cough, high temperature, and a loss of smell or taste.
  • In line with Scottish Government legislation, it will be compulsory by law to wear a face covering in shops. Please bear this in mind before making your visit.
  • Please maintain physical distancing when visiting the distillery, following the one-way system marked inside. In order to assist, there will be a limited number of visitors allowed into the visitor centre at any time.
  • We will be carrying out additional cleaning throughout the day and hand sanitiser will be available for your use throughout the visitor centre.

If you have any other questions or queries, please feel free to contact us at info@kingsbarnsdistillery.com

We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
